Reading. Page views are counted with Plausible, a privacy-focused counter that uses no cookies and builds no personal profile. We can see that a page was read, not who read it.
The calculators. The numbers you type into any tool on this site stay in your browser. They are not sent to us, stored, or logged. If you use the share button on the compounding calculator, the numbers you chose are placed in the link you copy, and only travel where you send that link.
The newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored so we can send you the newsletter. It is never shared, sold, or used for anything else. To be removed, use the unsubscribe link in any email or ask through the contact page, and it will be deleted.
Your theme choice. The day and night toggle saves your preference in your own browser's storage. It never leaves your device.
Outside services. Video thumbnails and previews load from YouTube, which applies its own policies when you interact with them. Source links go to the institutions named on each article.
